Three Cases of Radio-Frequency System Failure in Philips Ingenia 3.0 T MRI Instrument
Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)has become one of the essential medical imaging diagnostic technologies for routine physical examinations and disease diagnosis,as it is free from ionizing radiation and performs well in soft tissue imaging.MRI equipment has a complex structure and high maintenance costs, and long-term operation at high loads increases the failure rate of MRI devices. This paper summarized three cases of radio-frequency system failures of Philips Ingenia 3.0 T MRI equipment in our hospital, including de-tuned printed circuit board failure,radio-frequency amplifier failure, and body coil failure. The paper described the manifestations of three cases of radio-frequency system failures in Philips MRI equipment, analyzed the causes of the failures, and introduced the troubleshooting process, including observing the appearance, extracting parameters from the backend logs, measuring indicators of suspected damaged components, replacing the damaged components, and conducting system tests.By conducting in-depth analysis of radio-frequency system failure cases, share maintenance experience so as to improve equipment utilization.
