Application Status and Progress of Intravascular Ultrasound Application in Lower Limb Arterial Diseases
Lower limb atherosclerotic disease is a prevalent peripheral arterial disease in clinic.Currently, the most commonly used imaging diagnostic methods in clinic are ultrasound, computed tomography, and arteriography, but these methods can only observe morphological changes in the lower limb arteries, which limits the evaluation of intra arterial lesions(such as the nature of atherosclerotic plaque). With the maturation of intravascular ultrasound(IVUS)technology and ongoing investigations into the pathogenesis of lower extremity atherosclascular disease, enabling better ascular selection of clinical therapies. This paper reviewed the latest application progress of IVUS in the auxiliary diagnosis of lower limb atherosclerotic diseases,so as to promote the clinical application of IVUS technology.
