World Health Organization Evidence Study on Digital Health Governance Decision Making
Objective To carry out the scientific quantitative analysis of digital health documents issued by the World Health Organization(WHO),to provide reference for improving China's digital health governance capacity and governance level,and expanding China's influence in global health decision-making.Methods The citation types of digital health documents issued by the WHO were identified,and scientific measurement was carried out,including statistics on the issuing institution,country,year,and analyzed of citation topics.Results WHO issued several strategic and guidelines in the field of digital health,and the references were from electronic bulletin board,journal literature and a few monographs.There were various citations from electronic bulletin board of international agencies,and journal articles from several medical-related high-level journals,with strong timeliness,and the topics of the research included randomized controlled trials,cohort studies,health education,behavioral interventions,smoking,infrastructure construction,etc.The research results of American,British,and Swiss institutions were cited most frequently.Conclusion China should adopt the research results of different types of institutions,scientifically optimize the planning measures for digital health in key disease areas in China,actively participate in global digital health governance,and encourage social organizations capable in research to conduct research projects of the WHO and other international organizations with universities and other institutions,expand the influence of their research,and strengthen international cooperation.
