Study on the Influence of Infusion Pipeline on Infusion Accuracy
Objective To investigate the influence of disposable infusion set pipeline on infusion pump infusion accuracy,in order to provide certain data support for clinical drug delivery guidance,equipment debugging and consumables selection.Methods The inner diameter and elastic coefficient of several brands of infusion sets were measured first,and then the actual flow rate of infusion pumps using infusion sets with different diameter and elasticity was measured under the setting flow rates of 25,50 and 100 mL/h.The influence of infusion set tube diameter and elasticity as variables on the actual flow rate was analyzed,univariate data analysis and scatter plot were performed on the obtained experimental data,and the fitting degree of the experimental data was measured with the help of correlation coefficient R2.Pearson correlation analysis was conducted on the actual flow rate and tube diameter,and the actual flow rate and elasticity respectively to verify the significance of the influence of these two factors on infusion speed.Results It was found that there was a significant positive correlation between the actual infusion flow rate and the inner diameter of the infusion tube.The correlation coefficient R2 of the fitting formula was greater than 0.95,and the correlation coefficient r was greater than 0.5,P<0.001.No significant correlation was found between the actual infusion flow rate and the pipeline elasticity of infusion set.The correlation coefficient of the fitting formula was r<0.5,P>0.001.Conclusion The inner diameter of the infusion tube has a significant effect on the actual infusion speed,while the elasticity of the pipeline has no obvious effect on the actual infusion speed.
