Construction and Practice of Medical Equipment Management System
Objective To assist in the high-quality development of hospitals,to build an efficient medical equipment management system. Methods The Porter value chain model was used to outline the module requirements for the full lifecycle management of medical equipment. The B/S architecture combined with radio frequency identification technology, and JAVA development tools and Oracle database were used to construct the medical equipment full lifecycle management system, which integrates"purchase+management+maintenance+control".And then the functions of equipment application and purchase, file management, maintenance, and quality control were realized. The application effect of the system was evaluated. Results After the application of the system, the efficiency of equipment application and purchase has significantly improved, with a 75%reduction in time consumption. The average time of multiple equipment management tasks was significantly shortened, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The maintenance rate of life support equipment dropped significantly year-on-year.Clinical satisfaction with the software was high, and the overall satisfaction was more than 80%.Conclusion The construction and practice of the full lifecycle management system for medical equipment has improved the efficiency of medical equipment management, reduced operation and maintenance costs, which achieves standardized, refined and intelligent management of medical equipment, and assists in the high-quality development of hospitals.
