There are many different materials to choose from in landscape design.To make sure visitors to experience a com-pletely different visual effect,designers should carefully select the best materials to enhance the overall quality of the landscape.Based on the selection criteria of hard landscape materials,this paper deeply discusses their application in landscape design,and gives relevant solutions.In this study,the properties,functions and applications of hard landscape materials in various environ-ments are discussed in depth,and they are divided into stone,preservative wood and metal materials in order to better meet dif-ferent needs.
