Abstract
One of the reasons why The Da Vinci Code has become one of the best-selling masterpieces of popular literature in the past twenty years is that Dan Brown has borrowed the script writing and editing techniques of classic movies in the process of creation, and made appropriate breakthroughs and clever splices,so that the novel can not only adapt to the reading habits of the market, but also fully demonstrate the author's creative talent. The novel makes reference to and integrates the classic film creation model in three aspects:plot arrangement, narrative techniques and characterization, thus achieving a new narrative form in which audiovisual art and literary creation are blended. The pop culture trend behind the novel is also worthy of consideration by researchers for its role in catering to the needs and pleasure production of the public.
