Professor Qiao Guoqiang is a distinguished authority on American Jewish Literature,recognized both in China and internationally.While maintaining his focus on American Jewish Literature over the past two decades,he has also made significant strides in the field of narratology.His research,particularly in literary history narrative,has earned him a prominent reputation.He has carved out a unique niche by offering a theoretical framework and methodology for the writing of literary history,while simultaneously broadening the horizons of narratology.This interview explores several pivotal issues related to the literary history narrative,including the inherent fictionality in literary history narrative,the"triple worlds"of literary history,as well as its storyness and temporality.
