From the perspective of biopolitics, the nature of the conflict between the Caesar political group and the Brutus political group in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar shows that the struggle for supreme power and the governance of bare life were the cores of the construction of the power system in ancient Rome.Under this system of power discourse, the root of conflicts between the aristocratic groups was not the fight for democratic rights for the Roman commoners, but the competition for supreme sovereignty. The reaction from the commoners to limit and resist the supreme sovereignty out of the fear that they might be reduced to bare life was an important reason for the failure of the aristocratic power groups.
