A New Form of Human Civilization from the Perspective of Global History
The narrative lineage of modern world history in European and American academic circles contains its own unique historical ethics,including the national utilitarianism with economic individualism as the core,and the social Darwinism with natural selection of the fittest,which has led to deep inequality among sovereign states,transnational capital and global labor.With the continuous acceleration of various major risks of globalization in contemporary mankind,in order to fundamentally eliminate the above-mentioned inequalities,it is necessary to create a new form of human civilization while promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.In order to accomplish this important historical task,it is necessary to realize the transformation from the Western view of world history into a global view of history,the transformation of the sovereignty of nation states from absolute to relative,and the transformation of transnational capital from winning or losing to inclusiveness,and in particular,on the basis of improving the overall quality of global labor,we must constantly improve our ability to resist the oppression of imperial hegemony and the exploitation of transnational capital.
