Compilation and Enlightenment of Eschi's Edition of Dialectical Materialism and Historical Materialism
The writing and publication of Eisch's edition of Dialectical Materialism and Historical Materialism in the early 1960s is the product of an attempt by the theoretical community of Chinese Marxist philosophy to escape from the influence of the Soviet model of textbooks and to begin an independent and autonomous quest for a philosophical textbook with Chinese characteristics that embodied Mao Zedong's thought and meets the needs of philosophy teaching in colleges and universities.In terms of content,this philosophy textbook responded to the philosophical issues debated between the 1950s and the 1960s,and to a certain extent reflected the level of people's understanding of Marxist philosophy in the 1960s.As the first philosophy textbook written by the Chinese people after the founding of New China,the rich experience accumulated in the writing process gave important enlightenment to the writing of Marxist philosophy textbooks in the new era.
