It is an important measure for promoting a Chinese path to modernization with high-quality population development by vigorously advocating and practicing the view on positive aging and integrating it into the whole process of economic and social development.Aging is not a problem,but a foundation and prerequisite for achieving a high-level civilization.As a necessary stage for the subjectivity,the experiential and spiritual transition of human society,the construction of aging civilization must rely on a full interpretation of a positive aging perspective from an ethical perspective.In response to ethical practice goals,the theoretical values such as classical ethics,the concept of feasible abilities,caring ethics,and Confucian cultivation theory should be fully integrated to shape a positive image of the elderly;facing an aging society,we should start from the perspectives of moral imagination,identity ethics,narrative ethics,and symbiotic ethics,and clearly depict a positive aging civilization;in response to the ethical practice approaches,efforts should be made to mobilize the self creative vitality of the elderly population,actively care for other groups,and focus on promoting the cultural awareness of the elderly in society,ensuring opportunities for the elderly to participate in society.
