THE STUDY ON THE SPATIAL AND TEMPORAL EVOLUTION OF SUPPLY AND MARKETING COOPERATIVES AND ITS IMPACT MECHANISM IN CHINA
Supply and marketing cooperatives are distinct economic organizations embodying Chinese characteris-tics that play a crucial role in the contemporary era.This paper utilizes POI data from supply and marketing coop-eratives nationwide to investigate their spatial distribution characteristics alongside the China E Co-op project,employing geostatistical spatial analysis principles including nearest-average nearest neighbor index,kernel den-sity estimation,standard deviation ellipse,and bivariate spatial autocorrelation.The findings reveal a clear cen-tripetal agglomeration in the spatial distribution of supply and marketing cooperatives and the China E Co-op pro-ject across China.Specifically,supply and marketing cooperatives exhibit a spatial pattern of'dense in the East,sparse in the West,inverted C-shape',predominantly oriented from Northeast to Southwest.Similarly,the China E Co-op project shows a spatial distribution pattern of'dense in the East and sparse in the West,in a Northwest-Southeast direction'.Government macro-policies,demographic factors,and economic conditions emerge as critical factors influencing the nationwide spatial distribution of supply and marketing cooperatives.
