STATCOM(静态无功补偿装置)属于近几年在电力系统中推广的一种新型无功补偿装置.它的优点非常明显,既可以发容性无功也可以发感性无功,同时它的无功调节范围大,精度高、响应快.但STATCOM的缺点也非常明显,因为技术新,缺乏运维经验,运行时总是存在各种各样的问题,需要在运维过程中去发现,去改进.本文就STATCOM在运行过程发生的因单个子模块旁路失败导致跳闸的原因进行分析,同时提出改进方法.

STATCOM(Static Reactive Power Compensation Device)is a new type of reactive power compensation device popularized in the power system in recent years.Its advantages are very obvious.It can generate both capacitive reactive power and inductive reactive power.At the same time,it has a large reactive power adjustment range,high precision and fast response.However,the shortcomings of STATCOM are also very obvious.Because of the new technology and lack of operation and maintenance experience,there are always various problems during operation.However,the disadvantages of STATCOM are also very obvious.Due to the new technology and lack of operation and maintenance experience,there are always various problems during operation,which need to be discovered and improved during the operation and maintenance process.This paper analyzes the cause of tripping caused by single sub module bypass failure during STATCOM operation,and proposes an improvement method.
