Analysis of Detuning Characteristics of AC Filters in A±500 kV Converter Station
The operation of the converter valve will generate a large number of characteristic harmonics,which need to be solved by configuring filters in the AC field of the converter station.This article combines the 13th harmonic detuning protection action event that occurred at a DC converter station of Southern Power Grid Company,and first analyzes the characteristics of the detuning protection action and the reasons for the generation of harmonic current;Then,the problem of setting the detuning protection value for B-type AC filters was discussed,and improvement measures were proposed for the 13 times detuning action characteristics of AC filters in converter stations.
