Security and Stability Analysis of Yongfu HVDC Power Transmission to Yunnan Power Grid
Abstarct:During the 13th Five-Year Plan period,Yongfu HVDC mainly transmission power to Guangxi grid.With the rapid growth of load in Southeast Yunnan,Yongfu HVDC needs to transmission power to Yunnan grid to meet the demand of new load and reduce the transmission tide of 500 kV north-south section of Yunnan grid and 500 kV AC section of Southeast Yunnan.This paper presents a simulation analysis of the system stability of Yongfu HVDC transmission power to Yunnan of the current grid and the grid after the commissioning of the 500 kV Liujing transmission project.The simulation results show that the current grid can not fully meet the operational requirements for the power transmission of Yongfu HVDC to the Yunnan grid,while it will be available after the commissioning of 500 kV Liujing transmission project.
