Study on Wind Turbine Optimization for Complex Mountain Wind Farms
Mountainous wind farms often have large topographic ups and downs, resulting in different levels of wind resources within the field. For complex mountainous terrain wind farms,if the whole field adopts a uniform wind turbine model,it is not conducive to fully utilize the resource endowment and improve the project's investment returns.By figuring out the distribution of resources, for low wind speed areas, the use of WTGs with larger unit kW wind swept area and stronger wind catching capacity is used to improve the utilization hours;for high wind speed areas, the use of WTGs with larger single unit capacity and stronger power generation capacity appropriately reduces the utilization hours, but it improves the installed scale of the wind farm and increases the degree of utilization of the wind resources.Through the refined simulation of resource distribution, differentiated selection of WTGs,multi-scheme combinations, and technical and economic multi-factor comparisons,in order to achieve the purpose of maximizing investment returns.
