Analysis of a 220 kV Isolation Switch Closing Failure
The control and information interaction in substations are inseparable from low-voltage cables. As the service life of cables increases, they gradually lose their insulating properties, forming some conductive paths between areas with weak insulation and the ground. This leads to misoperations in secondary circuits and switches. This article,in conjunction with an abnormal closing fault of an isolation switch, analyzes the causes of control circuit faults and proposes relevant rectification measures.
