Optimization of Steam Valve's Characteristics of the Steam Turbine Speed Control System for a Power Plant
In this paper, with the goal of solving the problem of steam valve jamming in the speed regulation system during the start-up and shutdown of 600 MW and 1000 MW steam turbines in a power plant and the steam valve activity test, the reasons for the steam valve jamming of the speed regulation system are analyzed in detail, and it is inferred that the deformation of the valve cover, the increase of the thickness of the oxide layer between the valve stem and the bushing, and the deformation of the inner hole of the bushing(the internal and external structure of the inner and outer layers are difficult to guarantee after interference assembly, and there is a large amount of local interference)will lead to the jamming of the valve. And take measures to optimize the core parts inside the valve, which ultimately improves the reliability of the operation of the steam turbine, and provides a valuable reference for the operation and maintenance of the same type of steam turbine.
