Since the 14th Five-Year Plan period,the demand for electricity in southern power grid regions has continued to grow,and the sustainable development of power transmission from west to east is facing a severe situation.Based on the analysis of the power supply and demand situation,this article focuses on the guarantee capacity of various types of power sources in Yunnan,proposed the development positioning of Yunnan West to East power transmission in the new era and relevant countermeasures and suggestions.
