The aim of this paper is to study r-wide semigroups with multiplicative weakly type A transversal.We establish the structure of r-wide semigroups with a multiplicative weakly type A transversal.The result of this paper is that the corresponding conclusions in regular semigroups and abundant semigroups are promoted to r-wide semigroups.It lays a foundation for further study of the poperies,structure and characterization of the congruences on this kind of semigroups.
