GEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND PROSPECTING RESEARCH OF BAGENHEIGEQIER LEAD-ZINC DEPOSIT IN INNER MONGOLIA
The Bagenheigeqier lead-zinc deposit in Inner Mongolia occurs in the andesitic tuff of the Upper Carboniferous Baoligemiao Formation, which is lenticular and veined. The F3 fault is an important ore-controlling structure. The monzonitic granite porphyry has obvious ore-controlling effect on mineralization, and the high magnetic anomaly has a direct indication for prospecting.Based on summarizing the geological characteristics, genesis, metallogenic regularity and ore-controlling factors of the deposit, two target areas were selected by the'five in one'prospecting model of strata, structure, magmatic rock, metallogenic space and magnetic anomaly,in order to achieve a breakthrough in prospecting.
