GEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND METALLOGENIC MODEL OF THE JIDE GOLD DEPOSIT IN KAIYUAN CITY,YUNNAN PROVINCE
The Jide gold deposit mainly occurs in a layered and lens like manner in the unconformity between Emeishan basalt and underlying limestone karst, interbedded with basaltic volcanic clastic rocks, and secondary structural fracture zones. There are two types of gold:laterite type and karst breccia type, with the main type of gold being fine natural gold.At present, the scale of the deposit is relatively small and the degree of geological research is relatively low.The summary of ore-forming laws and the construction of metallogenic model provide guidance for the search for laterite type and karst breccia type gold deposits in the mining area and surrounding areas.
