GEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND ORE-FORMING CONDITIONS OF THE HEXI STRONTIUM DEPOSIT IN LANPING COUNTY,YUNNAN PROVINCE
The ore-bearing rocksof the Hexi strontium mining area,Lanping County,is a set of carbonate rocks.The ore body is mainly controlled by faults.The SrSO4 content of which is 93.37 ω%,analyzed by semi closed reduction method.It was formed in an open marine sedimentary environment with arid climate.The strontium was originated from the Shizhongshan Formation and was enriched and mineralized by hydrothermal fluids.The deposit is a sedimentary-hydrothermal type.
