A Study on the Design of a Large Unit of Instruction on Hydrocarbons Based on UbD Theory
In order to promote students'deep understanding in the learning process and effectively implement the integrated system of"teaching,learning and assessment",a study on large-unit teaching design based on UbD theory was conducted,taking the content of"hydrocarbons"in high school chemistry as an example,and the operating procedures of teaching design were determined.The procedure of instructional design was determined,including determining the theme of the large unit,setting the objectives of the large unit,determining the basis of the large unit assessment,designing the learning experience of the large unit,and developing the instructional design of the lesson.This instructional design strategy can help improve the teaching situation of organic chemistry in high school and promote students'further understanding,transfer and ap-plication of chemical knowledge,which is a positive exploration in educational reform.
