Application and Prospects of Metal Organic Frames (MOFs) in Supercapacitors
With the worsening global environmental pollution problem, people need clean and efficient energy to replace fossil fuels,so developing new green energy storage devices has become increasingly important.Supercapacitors are a new type of capacitor that lies between traditional ca-pacitors and batteries.Although supercapacitors have improved energy storage, power density, and cycling performance compared to traditional capacitors, exploring new materials with high stability and capacity in sustainable energy conversion and storage systems remains a challenging is-sue.Metal organic frameworks(MOFs),with their high specific surface area and adjustable pore size, have become potential electrocatalytic ma-terials and have attracted attention in the field of supercapacitors. This article mainly introduces several common types of supercapacitors, such as double layer capacitors, pseudo capacitors, and hybrid capacitors,as well as their MOFs classification in the field of supercapacitors in recent years:ZIF,IROMFs,MILs,UIOs,HKUST-1 series, and other new MOFs materials discovered in recent years. Finally, the research progress and advantages and disadvantages of MOFs are summarized. At the same time,in the summary section, the development and challenges of metal or-ganic frameworks(MOFs)in supercapacitors are discussed in conjunction with literature.
