Thermal Analysis and Treatment of Cr(Ⅵ) from Wastewater by Walnut Shell Activated Carbon
Walnut shell activated carbon (WSAC) adsorbed Cr(Ⅵ) from wastewater to attain the waste control by the waste.IR Spectroscopy was characterized,TG and DTA was measured and analyzed for WSAC.The effect of pH of Cr(Ⅵ) containing water,Cr(Ⅵ) initial concentration and dosage of WSAC to the efficiency of chromium treatment was investigated, results show that the optimal value of initial concentration,pH and the dosage of WSAC for the adsorption treatment is4 mg/L,3.95,2 mg/mL respectively.Analysis shows that the dosage of WSAC is the essen-tial factor for the Cr(Ⅵ) removing, and pH and Cr(Ⅵ) initial concentration are ranked in behind.
