Taking pomelo peel powder as raw material,ethylenediamine-modified pomelo peel powder adsorbents were successfully prepared by epichlorohydrin chlorination and ethylenediamine grafting, and used for methyl orange dye wastewater treatment. The experimental results show that the optimal adsorption conditions for methyl orange by ethylenediamine modified pomelo peel powder are pH =5,the dosage is 0.05 g,and the adsorption equilibrium is reached after 4 h,and the adsorption rate is 92.77%,which is 62.91%higher than that of unmodified pomelo peel powder.Adsorption process is in line with the quasi-second-order kinetic equation and Langmuir model, and chemisorption is the main meth-od.It is a spontaneous exothermic process at room temperature. This study can provide reference for the treatment of anionic dye wastewater with modified agroforestry waste.
