Model Calculation of Venting System in Gas Pipeline Project
Venting and pressure relief is an essential operation in gas transmission pipeline projects,such as inspection and maintenance of e-quipment or valves,pipeline fatigue and leakage caused by fire,etc.It is necessary to quickly release the pressure of natural gas in pipeline sec-tions or stations and safely discharge it into the atmosphere.Selection and calculation of safety valve,using TG NET and HYSYS software to sim-ulate and calculate the venting of natural gas pipeline,and analyzing and determining the important data such as venting volume,venting time and orifice size.Through in-depth analysis of natural gas pipelines,the loss of natural gas can be greatly reduced,the venting time can be shortened and environmental noise can be reduced.It is suitable for depressurization and venting operation of long-distance gas pipelines,and at the same time,the daily management of stations and lines can be realized,and the construction cost can be saved.
