In response to the national renewal and development strategy for traditional chinese medicine,the preparation experiment of traditional chinese medicine pills was put into teaching practice.Taking the sealwort sesame pill,which is used for both medicine and food,as an example,we conducted the interest teaching.The main process for the preparation of chinese medicine pill was reproduced herein,followed by the quality inspection test for the sealwort sesame pills.These pills prepared by the students meet the requirements of roundness,uniformity,and consistent color.The weight difference and water content of the pills meet the requirement of quality inspection standards.By teaching the theoretical knowledge and operational skills for preparing traditional chinese medicine pills in a fun and educational way,we aim to cultivate students'inter-est in learning knowledge on traditional chinese medicine,and enhance their national and cultural confidence.
