Study on the Preparation of Mesoporous V2O5/SiO2 and Its Catalytic Performance in Oxidative Desulfurization
A series of mesoporous V2O5/SiO2 catalysts with different V2O5 loadings were prepared by an incipient-wetness impregnation method using agricultural waste rice husk as both silicon source and mesoporous template, and ammonium metavanadate as vanadium source. The samples were characterized by relevant characterization methods. The results showed that when the loading of V2O5 was 5%or less,V2O5 was well dis-persed on the carrier SiO2,and the samples had large specific surface area and mesoporous volume. The oxidative desulfurization reaction of dibenzothiophene model oil was used as the probe reaction to investigate the catalytic performances of samples, and the reaction conditions were optimized. The results showed that the conversion of DBT reached 99.5%under the optimum reaction conditions with 5%V2O5/SiO2 as the cata-lyst and tert-butyl hydroperoxide as the oxidant.
