Research Status and Prospects of Functionalized Ionic Liquids for CO2 Separation
Ionic liquids show significant potential in the field of gas separation,especially in CO2 absorption,due to their excellent physical and chemical stability,extremely low vapor pressure,adjustable structural characteristics,and unique physicochemical properties.This article re-views the latest research developments of ionic liquids in the CO2 absorption field,focusing on amino-functionalized ionic liquids,ionic liquid-water and ionic liquid-organic amine complex systems,as well as the mechanism and characteristics of CO2 absorption by phase change in i-onic liquids.Additionally,the challenges and future directions in current research are pointed out,aiming to provide new insights for the inno-vation and application of gas separation technology.
