Effect of Silane Coupling Agent on Corrosion Properties of Solvent-free Epoxy Coating
The effect of silane coupling agent on the corrosion of solvent-free epoxy coating in wet environment was studied.Of silane coupling agent without solvent epoxy coating water absorption,water vapor transmittance,cathode stripping and hot water soaking after wet adhesion was tested,the results found that silane coupling agent will make the coating of water barrier decline,performance by add more than 10％coating wa-ter absorption increases rapidly,add more than 5％coating water vapor transmittance,cathode stripping radius increased significantly,hot water soaking wet adhesion drop.
