Instructional Design and Practice Based on Real-life Situations and Model Cognition:Take"mole, the unit of quantity of matter"as an Example
"The amount of substance"is a highly abstract concept that students encounter upon entering high school. In teaching practice,by u-sing real-life situations as a medium to create authentic and valuable problem scenarios, the unique value of"the amount of substance"in de-veloping students'model cognition and other core disciplinary competencies is explored.Enriching student classroom experiences through activi-ties allows students to gradually develop core chemical competencies while solving practical problems and constructing models independently.
