The Current Status and Prospects of Green Hydrogen-ammonia-ethanol Industry in China
This paper reviews the development overview,industrial chain structure,and current technological advancements of China's green hy-drogen-ammonia-ethanol industry.It also conducts a comparative analysis of the domestic and international development levels of this sector,highlighting China's global leadership in synthetic ammonia and methanol production capacity and scale,technological maturity,and a welL-es-tablished industrial chain.However,traditional ammonia-ethanol preparation processes,reliant on fossil fuels,face issues of high energy con-sumption and emissions,posing pressures for low-carbon transformation.Green hydrogen-ammonia-ethanol technology,enabled by renewable energy generation and electrolytic hydrogen production,achieves low to zero-carbon manufacturing,becoming a key pathway for carbon emission reduction in the chemical industry.Regarding policies,although national and local top-level plans and supportive policies have been intro-duced,they often suffer from weak feasibility and operability,mismatching actual enterprise needs.The paper concludes that to ensure the sus-tainable development of China's green hydrogen-ammonia-ethanol industry,it is imperative to refine supportive policies,strengthen standard sys-tem construction,expand application scenarios,stimulate internal enterprise dynamics,and achieve orderly industrial development,thereby seizing the initiative in the global hydrogen energy arena.
