Photocatalytic Degradation of Methylene Blue over WS2-WO3 Composites
After dye pollutants enter the water resources system, they are difficult to degrade naturally and pose a threat to human health.Photo-catalytic oxidation technology is an effective approach for wastewater treatment as it can directly utilize light energy, cause no secondary pollu-tion,and reduce energy consumption. The photocatalytic degradation efficiency of different WS2-WO3 composites for the methylene blue solution was investigated by adjusting the synthesis temperature and time. The results indicated that the degradation rate of the 20 mg/L methylene blue solution at 400℃ for 1 h were 1.73,1.93,1.79,and 2.39 times that at 200℃,300℃,500℃,and 600℃ for 1 h,respectively.
