Comparison and Analysis of Chromatography for the Determination of Organic Components of Exhaust Gas Washing Towers
The non-condensing gas in the distillation column of the refining unit produced by methyl glycolate process was analyzed and the low boiling point organic solvent components and their contents in the water were determined after being sprayed and washed by desalting water in the tail gas absorption tower. The principle, steps, accuracy and precision of the two methods were compared and analyzed by using gas chro-matograph and headspace-gas chromatograph. The results show that both the standard sample and the real sample determined by the two methods can meet the requirements of timeliness and accuracy of the intermediate control analysis in chemical production. The headspace-gas chromatograph has more advantages than the gas chromatograph considering the accuracy, precision and actual economic benefit of the analy-sis results.
