Ultrafine Heavy Calcium Carbonate In Natural Rubber By Wet Ball Milling
In this study,600 mesh ground calcium carbonate(GCC)produced by Raymond mill,2000 mesh GCC produced by Yifeng dry grind-ing,and 5000 mesh GCC produced by wet ball milling were respectively applied to natural rubber,and compared with precipitated calcium car-bonate(PCC).The results showed that the natural rubber compound filled with GCC had low Mooney viscosity,short scorch time and improved processing performance,and the positive vulcanization time of the compound added with ultrafine GCC CC-5000 by wet ball milling was close to that of the compound added with PCC.The tensile strength,100%and 300%fixed elongation strength of the vulcanized rubber with CC-5000 is better than that of PCC.From the point of view of tear strength,the tear strength of CC-5000 vulcanized rubber is close to the tear strength of vul-canized rubber with PCC.
