Assessment about Selenium Content of the Soil in Orchard from Kaiyang of Guizhou
The selenium content of soils from five orchard areas in Kaiyang couty was determined by hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spec-trometry(HG-AFS).The result shows that the average content of selenium in target area is 0.53 mg/kg,which is much higher than the back-ground concentration values(0.29 mg/kg)of China and that(0.369 mg/kg)of Guizhou.According to classification standard of national seleni-um element ecology landscape threshold value, selenium content of sampling areas is very high. The selenium content of orchard areas in Kaiyang couty is worth further research in order to develop selenium-enriched fruit in the local area.
