Effect of Aqua Regia Acid Dissolution Method on Determination of Alumina Content in Phosphate Ore and Phosphorus Concentrate
On the determination of phosphorus pentcontent in GB/T 1871.1-1995 phosphate ore and phosphate concentrate phosphate acid lim weight method and capacity method acid solution(Aqua regia method)sample decomposition, according to the determination of GB/T 1871.3-1995 phosphate ore and phosphate concentrate alumina content capacity method and spectrophotometry iron phosphate(aluminum)separation-EDTA capacity method to determine the alumina content, encountered the determination data is low, poor reproducibility, and fre-quently in the phosphate ore sales contract alumina content review, arbitration disputes and thinking. The issues related to the decomposition of samples using the aqua regia acid dissolution method were examined, and recommendations were made for expanding the application scope of this method. It was suggested to enhance the acid dissolution process by incorporating hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, and perchloric acid,as well as utilizing advanced instrumentation for rapid analysis.
