Immigration and the Development of Confucianism in Yunnan
Judging from the historical context,Yunnan is a regional society composed of immigrants. In the history of Yunnan,espe-cially in the Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties,a large number of immigrants came to Yunnan, and gradually formed the"Yunnan peo-ple"of nowadays. The immigrants to Yunnan went hand in hand with the development of Confucianism, that is,the history of immi-grants to Yunnan is a history of the development of Confucianism. The large-scale immigration of the Yuan dynasty led to the compre-hensive development of Confucianism in Yunnan. With the continuous immigration in the Ming dynasty, the pattern of"the Han as the majority and the other ethnic groups as the minority"in Yunnan was formed, and Confucianism took root in Yunnan. In the Qing dy-nasty,the immigration scale was the largest, and Confucianism in Yunnan was flourishing. The clarification of the relationship between the immigration to Yunnan and the development of Confucianism can also help solve the problem of how the ethnic groups in Yunnan in-tegrated into the Chinese nation.
