An Analysis of the Mechanism of Information Ecology of the Ethnic Minority Network Community in the Southwest Border Areas of China Based on the Survey of Enhancing the Consciousness of the Community of the Chinese Nation
The features of cross-border group movement, relative poverty and backwardness, complex ethnic compositions and diverse religious beliefs find expression in the ethnic minorities in the southwest border areas of China where religious extremism, ethnic separa-tism and terrorism are still active in infiltrating into various online communities to stir up negative emotions. From the perspective of the national strategy of maintaining the border security and stability and the integrity and unity of the Chinese nation,it is urgent to make an overall plan and joint efforts to optimize the network community ecology so as to make it an important platform to enhance the con-sciousness of the community of the Chinese nation.Adopting the theory of information ecology to make an investigation of some villages and towns in the southwest border areas of China and taking the minority network community as a key carrier of information ecology, this paper concludes that it follows the following the mechanism of information ecology:the discussion on public issues relies on the e-motional needs of the"online-offline"interaction mechanism;the information interaction of grassroots governance relies on the infor-mation interaction mechanism of the social-information communicative community;the anchored strong agglomerative effects originate from the objective and unstable mobilization mechanism of the aggregative effects of the information center nodes.
