The Production-Life Theoretical Framework and Key Issues of County-Level Urban-Rural Integration Development
Currently,rural-urban or urban-rural mobility is occurring at the same time,and the county as an administrative region in China is becoming a new type of residence for people in the context of uncertainty and mobility and a key place of agglomeration along the urban-rural continuum.In order to avoid the previous stereotyped thinking of urban-rural dichotomy,it is necessary to under-stand the urban-rural integrated development from the deep connection between the county,city,and rural area.Based on the theo-retical evolution of Rural China-Rural-urban China-County-featured China and the existing research on people's production and life in China's urban and rural changes,this paper proposes the"production-life integration theory"for explaining the county-level urban-rural integrated development from the perspective of production and life,which is considered as a guiding theory for the con-struction of the county-featured society,the co-ordination of urban-rural integration,and the summary of the new forms of urban-rural relations.The future research topics can focus on the empirical studies,typical cases of experience and governance enlighten-ments,including exploring the formation mechanism of urban-rural production integration and urban-rural life integration at the county level,finding out the typical model of the county-level urban-rural integration in production and life facet,summarizing the development law and new forms of urban-rural relations and revealing the rich governance enlightenments on county-level urban-ru-ral integration under the strategy of rural revitalization to enrich the localized theoretical implications of the research on China's county-specific studies and urban-rural relationship.
