Ecological Civilization through the Rule of Law in the Perspective of Nomology
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has made a series of impor-tant remarks on ecological civilization,proposing the concept of"a community of life for man and nature",and emphasized the dialec-tical unity between humanity and nature,bringing humanity's understanding of the relationship between humanity and nature to a new height."Ecological civilization"has also become a strategic governance principle of our country enshrined in the constitution,marking the inclusion of"ecological rule of law"as a new important content of legal governance in our country,while"ecological rule of law"has become an important value concept in China's legal system,representing one of the goals to be pursued in the socialist rule of law and an advancement in the socialist legal ideology.It elevates our previous institutional norm of"environmental protection"to the phil-osophical level of"nomological value,"thereby fundamentally influencing the entire legal system of China.Interpreting"ecological rule of law"from the perspective of jurisprudence can enrich the theoretical content of the Chinese legal theory and provide some theo-retical guidance for the construction of"ecological rule of law."
