An Empirical Study of the Enhancement of the Consciousness of the Community of the Chinese Nation through Cultural Tourism in the Perspective of Cultural Identity:An Investigative Case Study in Xinjiang
At the deepest level of identity,cultural identity is the long-term and fundamental policy for enhancing the consciousness of the community of the Chinese nation.Through the in-depth implementation of the tourism strategy and cultural revitalization project,Xinjiang has made its cultural tourism an industry that promotes the stability of ethnic exchanges and unity,a culturally beneficial in-dustry that helps the enrichment and improvement of the Chinese culture with the feature of pluralistic integration,a key industry that expands employment and improves the people's livelihoods,and an important industry that promotes the implementation of its regional economic transformation and upgrading.Xinjiang's cultural tourism has helped the enhancement of the consciousness of the community of the Chinese nation by taking advantage of the pluralistic integration of Chinese culture to vigorously develop the cultural tourism in-dustry with regional comparative advantages.The mechanisms of inclusiveness,integration,exchange and endogenesis inherent in the cultural tourism industry have promoted the social transformation and cultural reconstruction process of the ethnic regions,strengthened the spiritual bond among different ethnic groups,and further enhanced their recognition of Chinese culture,which have made positive contributions to the harmonious,stable and prosperous development of Xinjiang.
