A Study of the Quality Evaluation of the Embedded Model of Integrated Medical and Aged-care Services in the Perspective of Healthy Aging
From the perspective of healthy aging, the embedded model of integrated medical and aged-care services is a guarantee for the quality of aged-care services in the future, and also reflects the demands of the aged for a happy life in the future. However, most studies on this model are theoretically oriented, and empirical studies are relatively scarce. This study employs evaluation methods and principles to elaborate the process of establishing an evaluation index system for this model. It concludes that the current services of the aged-care institutions engaging in this embedded model focus more on aged care rather than medical care, and there is an insufficient cooperative connection between the medical service institutions and the aged-care service institutions, which specifically finds expres-sion in the following weaknesses:the medical staff's service is not sufficiently professional, the implementation of service items is inade-quate,and there is a fragmentation in the integration of resources between medical service institutions and aged-care service institu-tions,and an inefficient operation of the multiple institutional supervisions. It finally proposes some targeted suggestions, which may have some enlightening significance for the future implementation of this aged-care service model.
