A Study of the Impacts of the Technological Integration of Digital Industry and Real Industry on the Urban-Rural Shared Prosperity Based on the Test of the Mediation Effects of New-quality Productivity
Based on the panel data from 31 provinces and cities in China from 2012 to 2022,this study empirically analyzes the impacts of the technological integration of digital industry and real industry on the urban-rural shared prosperity. It constructs mediation-effect models,moderation-effect models, and threshold-effect models to empirically examine the impact effects and the internal mechanism of the technological integration of digital industry and real industry on the urban-rural shared prosperity. The results show that the technological integration of digital industry and real industry can promote the urban-rural shared prosperity. This conclusion still holds water after the robustness test. The heterogeneity analysis reveals that the promotion effects of the technological integration of digital industry and real industry on the urban-rural shared prosperity present a heterogeneous impact-induced paradigm in different geographical locations and industrial structures.Specifically, such technological integration has a stronger effect of empowerment on the northwest region of the Heihe-Tengchong Line and the areas with a low-level industrial structure. The verification of the mechanism shows that the technological integration of digital industry and real industry can promote the urban-rural shared prosperity through de-veloping new-quality productivity. The moderation-effect and threshold-effect tests reveal that the market-oriented allocation of data elements can enhance the promotion effects of the technological integration of digital industry and real industry on the urban-rural shared prosperity, and after surpassing the threshold value of 10.2375,its effects are more obvious.
