Correlative analysis of climate comfort and variation of tourists in Kunming city
This paper uses the tourism climate comfort composite index model and concludes that Kunming enjoys not only a long period of climate comfort but ranks among the rare cities in China in terms of " spring - like in the four seasons". Affected by the dual factors of climate comfort and holidays, the monthly variation of inbound tourists in Kunming usually reaches its peak season from April to August and October to December, while that of domestic tourists from July to November and February. Through the assignment processing of festive holidays and other factors, the paper uses the least square method to establish regression equations between the variation of tourists in Kunming and tourism climate comfort, and the results have showed that there is a significant correlation.
