Study on determination of metal ions in groundwater by ICP-MS
In order to determine the content of metal ions in groundwater, the ICP-MS measurement technology was optimized, and the determination of metal ions such as Cd,Co,Ni,Cu,As,Cr,Sn,Sb,Hg,Pb and other metal ions was carried out on the groundwater extracted from the test well. The conditions of measurement test in-struments and reagents were improved, groundwater samples for pretreatment were collected, and the overall process of ICP-MS sample introduction and metal ion determination was designed. In order to reduce the influence of test parameters on the measurement results, the standard solution was used to optimize the parameters such as sample acidity, shaking time, and flow rate through the column in the test.Since the acidity and pH of the sample were selected as 5,the oscillation time was 25 min,and the flow rate through the column was 4.0 mL/min,the ad-sorption capacity of metal ions was the largest. The measurement results show that the metal ion content of groundw-ater in pumping test wells 1 and 2 meets the national standard, only Pb ion in pumping test well 3 exceeds the standard by 6.4%,and Co,Ni,Cu,and Sb in pumping test well 4 exceed the standard by 2.4%and 8%,re-spectively 116.2%and 7.3%,verifying that the designed ICP-MS determination method has good precision and accuracy.
