GC-MS analysis of chemical constituents of Tibetan incense products from different brands
In order to analyze the chemical composition and characteristic substance information of famous and ex-cellent brand Tibetan incense products, the filtrate of Tibetan incense samples extracted by ultrasonic with n-hex-ane acetone mixture was analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).The chemical compo-nents of the extract of Tibetan incense products were analyzed and identified. The relative percentage content of each compound was obtained by peak area normalization method. The results showed that 61,62 and 34 com-pounds were identified from the three samples of Tibetan incense sample A,Tibetan incense sample B,and Tibetan incense sample C,including 16 co-constituents:cedrol,isoalantolactone,alantolactone,dehydrocostus lactone,epifriedelinol,eugenol,β-amyrin,24-norursa-3,12-dien-11-one,24-norursa-3,12-diene,friede-lan-3-one,α-amyrin,ursolic aldehyde,24-noroleana-3,12-diene,hinokione,(-)-spathulenol,non-acosane,The average relative contents of the above common components were 4.36%,4.35%,3.68%,3.19%,2.63%,2.43%,1.75%,1.53%,1.45%,1.31%,1.26%,0.90%,0.81%,0.59%,0.40%and 0.33%respectively.Cedrol was the compound with the highest average content in Tibetan incense samples. In addition,14 of these common components were terpenes, and the total terpenes in the above three samples accounted for 93.29%,93.93%and 86.66%of the common components, respectively, indicating that the terpenoids were the most numerous and the largest proportion of the relative content of the common components of Tibetan incense. In conclusion, the chemical components and characteristic components of Tibetan incense products obtained by GC-MS can provide scientific basis and reference for further research and development of Tibetan incense products.
